BitShift LLC ("BitShift", "we", "our", or "us") operates the website at bitshifthq.com and related products including Raven and Rivix. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have regarding your personal data.

We believe privacy is a default, not a feature you opt into. We collect as little data as possible and will never sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly. When you contact us by email or sign up for a product waitlist, we collect your email address and any information you choose to include in your message. This is stored only as long as necessary to respond to you or maintain your waitlist position.

Product account data. When you create an account for a BitShift product (such as Raven or Rivix), we collect the information required to operate that account — typically your email address, a hashed password, and any profile information you optionally provide. Product-specific data (such as SSH connection details in Raven) is stored on your device and never transmitted to our servers unless explicitly required by a feature you opt into.

Usage and analytics. We may collect anonymized, aggregated usage data (such as which features are used most often) to improve our products. This data cannot be used to identify you individually. We do not use third-party advertising analytics or behavioral tracking.

Technical data. Our servers automatically log standard technical information such as IP addresses, browser type, and request timestamps. This data is used solely for security monitoring and is retained for no more than 30 days.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our products and services
• Respond to your inquiries and support requests
• Send important product updates, security notices, or legal notifications
• Comply with legal obligations
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

We will never use your data to serve you ads or sell insights about your behavior to advertisers.

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. Account data is retained until you delete your account. When you request deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Our marketing website (bitshifthq.com) does not use tracking cookies or analytics scripts. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar third-party tracking technologies.

Our product applications may use strictly necessary session cookies to keep you logged in. These cookies are not used for tracking or advertising purposes.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access. The right to request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Correction. The right to request correction of inaccurate data.
• Deletion. The right to request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").

BitShift LLC is based in Indonesia. Your data may be processed on servers located in the United States or other countries. By using our services, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in these locations. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for any international transfers.
